The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/ga/atlanta/KATL. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official observations from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL), the standard measurement site, recorded a maximum temperature of 84°F on April 15, 2026, at around 4-6 PM local time under partly cloudy skies with light southwest winds and no precipitation. This aligns precisely with pre-event National Weather Service forecasts and NOAA model consensus, which projected low-to-mid 80s highs as a persistent upper-level ridge weakened ahead of an approaching cold front, tempering earlier record heat from April 13-14 (85°F). Well above the historical April 15 average of 74°F but below the record 87°F, the market-implied 100% odds on 84-85°F reflect verified ASOS data; challenges would require rare post hoc quality control revisions by NOAA.
