Statements from the Israeli government claiming responsibility for the incident will qualify for a "Yes" resolution. If no broad consensus has been reached by September 30, 2025, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No".

The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting, with priority given to official statements from relevant investigative agencies.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Israel initiates a major ground offensive in Lebanon by the listed date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

A "major ground offensive" is defined as a large-scale military operation that involves more than 1,000 Israeli ground forces entering Lebanese territory that was not under Israeli control at the start of the offensive. This excludes smaller raids, special operations, or limited incursions directly bordering buffer zones already under Israeli control.

Will Israel launch a major ground offensive in Lebanon by December 31?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Pakistan initiates a drone, missile, or air strike on Indian territory by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

For the purposes of this market, a qualifying "strike" is defined as the use of aerial bombs, drones, or missiles (including cruise or ballistic missiles) launched by Pakistani military forces that impact Indian territory (e.g., if a Pakistani missile or drone hits a target within India’s borders, this market will resolve to "Yes").

Missiles or drones that are intercepted before reaching Indian territory, as well as surface-to-air missile strikes, will not be sufficient for a "Yes" resolution regardless of whether debris lands on Indian soil or causes damage.

Actions such as artillery fire, small arms fire, FPV or ATGM strikes, ground incursions, naval shelling, cyberattacks, or any operation conducted by Pakistani ground forces will not qualify as a strike under this market.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if a NATO military downs another Russian drone by any means (kinetic, jammer, etc.) between October 30 and December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET.

The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.

NATO downs another Russian drone by December 31?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Eyal Zamir announces that he will resign as Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, or otherwise steps down from/is removed from this position by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

Note that an announcement of Eyal Zamir's resignation or removal before the resolution date will suffice to resolve this market to "Yes" regardless of if/when he actually steps down.

The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the government of the State of Israel, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
