The 1st Event of the Grand Chess Tour, the Superbet Chess Classic Romania Tournament is scheduled to take place from May 3rd until May 14th, 2022 in Bucharest, Romania. The tournament will be a 10 player round-robin format, wherein the players will compete for a $325,000 prize fund. If Alireza Firouzja places first in the Superbet Chess Classic Romania Tournament, this market will resolve to “Yes”. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If for any reason (including the tournament's postponement or cancellation) the winner of this tournament is not decided by May 31, 2022, 11:59:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be https://grandchesstour.org/, however other credible media may be used.
