The Argentine Roncadelli, ranked around No. 520, advanced through qualifiers with straight-set wins over lower-ranked foes, showcasing strong baseline play and 75% service hold rate in the tournament. Rodriguez, No. 780, upset a seed in the first round but struggled with errors in longer rallies, holding a 2-1 head-to-head deficit mostly on hard courts. No reported injuries for either, but Bucaramanga's high altitude favors Roncadelli's flatter groundstrokes, while Rodriguez's qualifier fatigue from three matches could factor in this round-of-32 clash. Trader consensus reflects Roncadelli's edge in stamina and clay stats (65% win rate past year vs. Rodriguez's 52%).
