Mikel Brown Jr., Keaton Wagler, and Darius Acuff Jr. each posted strong freshman seasons—Brown at Louisville, Wagler at Illinois, and Acuff at Arkansas—showcasing creation, shooting, and processing skills that align with multiple scouting evaluations. Mock drafts and team visits reflect shifting preferences among rebuilding clubs weighing immediate fit versus upside, with recent workouts and private interest reports preventing any single prospect from pulling clear. This dynamic, combined with comparable rankings across boards entering the final week before the draft, sustains the close implied probabilities among the top three.
