This market will resolve to “USA” if the United States of America gets more gold medals than Canada at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, or “Canada” if Canada gets more gold medals than the United States of America at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. If the USA and Canada get the same amount of gold medals, the market will resolve 50-50. 

The resolution source is the final medal table published by the International Olympic Commitee (IOC).

This market will resolve according to the country that wins the second most gold medals at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, scheduled for February 6-22, 2026.

In the case of ties, the ordered list for most gold medals won will use most overall medals won as a tiebreaker (e.g. If Norway and China tie for most gold medals won, and Norway wins more overall medals than China, Norway will be ranked first and China will be second). If this also results in a tie, the country whose name comes first in alphabetical order, as listed in this market group, will be ranked higher.

This market will resolve based on the medal figures as they stand after medals are awarded for the final event in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics. Later changes to medal counts will not be considered toward the resolution of this market.

If the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics are partially completed and then cancelled or postponed after December 31, 2026, this market will resolve based on the gold medals awarded in the completed events. If the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics are entirely cancelled or postponed after December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other”.

Participating countries will receive 3 points for each gold medal won, 2 points for each silver medal won, and 1 point for each bronze medal won. The country with the most points after all medals have been awarded will be deemed the winner.

If it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026 Men’s Ice Hockey Olympic gold medal according to the rules of the competition (i.e., the team is eliminated), the corresponding market will immediately resolve to “No.”

If the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics are cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, or there is otherwise no gold medal for Men’s Ice Hockey awarded during this timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.

For the purpose of this market, 'transgender women athlete' refers to an athlete assigned male at birth who identifies as female. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially bans transgender women from competing in the female category by February 5, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

A qualifying ban must affect at least one sport and apply to at least one clearly defined group, for example, transgender women who have undergone male puberty, individuals subject to specified testosterone-threshold policies, or athletes with differences of sexual development (DSD).

An official declaration of a qualifying ban within the specified timeframe will suffice, regardless of whether it is later revoked.
