This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Beijing Capital International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 4 Apr '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Beijing Capital International Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/cn/beijing/ZBAA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Latest ensemble forecasts from ECMWF and GFS models show Beijing's high temperature on April 4 clustering around 17–20°C under hazy, partly cloudy conditions with light easterly winds, driving the tight market-implied odds across 15–21°C outcomes and reflecting traders' assessment of inherent spring forecast uncertainty. Recent China Meteorological Administration updates indicate a stabilizing high-pressure ridge post-mild late-March weather (20–22°C highs), but potential Siberian cold front passages or dust influences could suppress maxima toward 15–17°C via increased cloud cover and reduced solar insolation, while prolonged clear skies favor 20°C+. Climatological early-April averages hover near 19°C with 5°C daily variability; watch daily 00Z/12Z model runs for shifts before resolution based on official Capital Airport observations.
