If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the Western Conference (e.g., elimination from the playoffs), the relevant market will resolve immediately to “No.” If the 2025-26 NHL season is permanently canceled or the playoffs have not been completed by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other.”Colorado Avalanche lead trader consensus at 38% implied probability to win the Western Conference, bolstered by their dominant 48-13-10 record atop the Central Division and a crucial 3-2 road win over Winnipeg on March 26, where Nathan MacKinnon scored twice late to extend their lead. Dallas Stars hold second at 16% following a playoff-clinching push despite a recent 2-1 loss to the Islanders, maintaining a strong 43-18-11 mark. Edmonton Oilers surged to 11.5% with a 4-3 overtime victory against Vegas on March 27—Evan Bouchard’s winner and Connor McDavid’s three points fueling momentum amid Leon Draisaitl’s ongoing lower-body treatment. Minnesota Wild sit at 10.4% with Kirill Kaprizov and Joel Eriksson Ek back healthy, while Anaheim Ducks (7.5%) and Utah Mammoth (6.7%) benefit from Pacific surprises, though wild-card volatility persists with four games left in the regular season.
