This market will resolve according to the team that finishes with the worst regular season record in the NBA for the 2025-2026 Season. If multiple teams finish with identical records, the league’s tiebreaker rules will be used to determine the worst record. If it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish with the worst record based on the rules of the NBA, the market for that team may resolve to “No”. The primary resolution source for this market is official information from the NBAWashington Wizards hold the outright worst record at 17-60, trailing Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets at 18-59 apiece, positioning them as overwhelming trader favorites amid the late-season lottery race. The Nets' 121-115 home win over the Wizards on April 5 prevented Washington from closing the gap, while the Pacers continue grappling with a rash of injuries sidelining stars like Pascal Siakam (ankle), Andrew Nembhard (thoracic/lumbar management), and Aaron Nesmith (cervical strain), contributing to their dismal campaign. All three Eastern bottom-feeders, long eliminated from playoffs, show poor recent form—Wizards 1-9 in last 10—against a West where Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz lag further at 21-57, with easier paths to more wins. Consensus implies Wizards' slim win total and remaining schedule seal their fate for fewest victories.
