Victor Wembanyama's commanding 3.1 blocks per game average through late in the 2025-26 NBA regular season has locked in trader consensus at near-certainty for the blocks leader market, dwarfing Chet Holmgren's distant 1.8 BPG and others below 2.0. His recent surge—17 blocks over the last three games—solidifies an insurmountable lead with only a handful of games remaining before the April playoffs, bolstered by consistent minutes and elite rim protection for the Spurs. No challengers have mounted a realistic pace threat amid their own load management or injury hiccups, though a catastrophic Wembanyama injury or unprecedented multi-game block explosion from a rival like Holmgren or Jay Huff could theoretically disrupt the outcome.
