Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects a razor-thin divide for April 5 TSA checkpoint passenger throughput, with <2.6 million at 52.5% edging 2.8M-3.0M at 48% and 2.6M-2.8M at 46%, driven by recent daily screenings hovering 2.1M-2.7M—latest April 2 at 2.71 million—below spring break peaks and Airlines for America’s 2.8 million daily forecast amid lingering government shutdown staffing strains. Easter Sunday timing adds uncertainty, as holiday family gatherings and reduced Sunday schedules could suppress volumes below recent averages, while post-Good Friday returns might push toward higher bins. Official TSA data through April 2 shows year-over-year declines, with April 3-4 reports and weather patterns poised to tip the balance before Monday resolution.
