Trader consensus overwhelmingly favors 2.4 million to 2.6 million TSA checkpoint passengers on March 18, driven by sustained spring break travel demand mirroring recent highs, with March 17 screening around 2.5 million and March 16 exceeding 2.58 million amid favorable weather and school holidays boosting domestic flights. Historical Monday averages during peak spring break periods align closely with this range, reflecting steady recovery in air travel volumes post-pandemic. Official TSA data, typically released the following day, underpins this near-unanimous pricing as the wisdom of crowds anticipates continuity absent disruptions. Realistic challenges include severe weather delays, airline technical issues, or sudden policy shifts on travel restrictions, though current conditions show no such catalysts.
