Trader consensus favors Los Angeles FC at 36.5% implied probability and LA Galaxy at 27.1% for Cristiano Ronaldo's next club, fueled by February 2026 reports of Al-Nassr fallout—including a reported player strike—that positioned these California sides as frontrunners amid lucrative offers and Hollywood allure post-Lionel Messi's Inter Miami impact. Early April statements from Al-Nassr executive Saud Al-Sarami claimed Ronaldo rejected a $1 billion MLS package and covered club fees to affirm loyalty through his 2027 contract, slightly cooling but not erasing sentiment. Competitive MLS fields like expansion San Diego FC (9.9%), CF Montréal (10%), and others around 9-10% reflect league-wide ambitions, financial muscle, and 2026 World Cup hosting incentives, while Real Madrid (8.6%) holds as a nostalgic longshot despite fading European links.
