Trader consensus heavily favors Kanye West's 'Bully' under 300k first-week units (83.5% implied probability), driven by Ye's eroded mainstream support following antisemitic controversies, Adidas fallout, and label disputes that curtailed promotion and playlisting. Historical precedents like Vultures 1 (148k debut) and Vultures 2 (under 100k) underscore declining sales trajectories in the streaming era, where pure sales lag behind bundles and equivalents. Recent developments include sparse pre-release buzz, no high-profile features announced, and minimal radio airplay, positioning 300k-400k (7%) as the next likeliest despite fan loyalty; blockbuster tiers above 500k appear improbable absent a surprise viral hit or controversy-fueled backlash sales. Key watch: Luminate tracking updates this week.
