This market will resolve to "Yes" if the storm named Hilary (https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_ep4+shtml/150034.shtml) is a hurricane when it crosses over United States land. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

If Hilary does not hit the United States by August 25, 2023 ET, or otherwise dissipates before that date, this market will resolve to "No".

This market will resolve based on an initial announcement released by NOAA that Hilary has crossed over United States land within the market timeframe regardless of any later retraction or analysis that may contradict the initial announcement. If information from NOAA becomes unavailable a consensus of credible sources will be used.

Will Hilary hit US as a hurricane?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if NOAA designates any storm in the Atlantic a hurricane between December 4, 2025, and May 31, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

The resolution source for this market will be NOAA’s list of named storms during the Atlantic hurricane season (https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/data/tcr/) and/or their data on individual storms.

If there is a potential named storm that has not yet been classified by May 31, 11:59 PM ET, the market may remain open until June 1, 12:00 PM ET to determine if a classification was made prior to midnight.

Will a hurricane form by May 31?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the United States federal government formally charges or announces a criminal indictment of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton between October 15, and December 31, 2025 ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

For the purposes of this market the District of Columbia and any county, municipality, or other subdivision of a State shall be included within the definition of a State.

The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from US governmental sources, however a wide consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

Hillary Clinton federally charged by December 31?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Hillary Clinton announces that she is running for President in the 2028 U.S. presidential election between May 5, 2025, 11:00 AM ET, and December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". 

Note that advance estimates will be considered. If on December 31, 2025 the latest estimate for quarterly GDP in Q3 2025 was negative, this market will stay open until the Advance estimate of Q4 2025 is published, at which point it will resolve to "Yes" if Q4 2025 was negative or if the NBER declares a recession by then.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the US conducts a nuclear test by the listed date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

A nuclear test is defined as the intentional non-combat detonation of a device by the US that produces a nuclear chain reaction (fission or fusion), regardless of yield.

Accidents, radiological dispersal devices (bombs that spread radioactive material using conventional explosives such as "dirty bombs"), or actions by third parties will not count toward this market's resolution.

Tests not explicitly claimed by US may still qualify if a clear consensus of credible reporting attributes the nuclear detonation to US. For example, an unclaimed nuclear test analogous to the 1979 "Vela Incident" would count if credible reporting attributes it to the US.
