Reports of UFC targeting Petr Yan as Merab Dvalishvili's next bantamweight title defense at UFC 311 on January 18 in Los Angeles heavily anchor trader consensus at 86.5%, fueled by Yan's recent decision win over Song Yadong and his status as a top-ranked former champion with stylistic intrigue against Dvalishvili's relentless wrestling. Dvalishvili's dominant unanimous decision over Sean O'Malley at UFC 306 keeps him injury-free and momentum-rich, aligning with league patterns favoring high-profile contender bouts over immediate rematches. Umar Nurmagomedov trails at 32.5% on his undefeated streak and Khabib-backed hype, but booking logistics favor Yan; shifts could arise from O'Malley rematch demands, Nurmagomedov fast-tracking, or unforeseen injuries altering the queue.
