Mumbai Indians top trader consensus at 27% implied probability for IPL 2026 glory, bolstered by their post-auction retention of captain Hardik Pandya, opener Rohit Sharma, middle-order dynamo Suryakumar Yadav, finisher Tilak Varma, and spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, creating a balanced T20 lineup with explosive batting, elite pace bowling, and allround depth unmatched amid zero major injury concerns entering the season. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru follow at 16%, leveraging Virat Kohli's title-winning form from IPL 2025 alongside retentions like Phil Salt and Josh Hazlewood, though their bowling relies more on overseas firepower. Punjab Kings sit third at 13% on Arshdeep Singh's record 18 crore retention and Harpreet Brar's spin control, differentiating via potent death bowling in a wide-open field where recent previews underscore MI's playoff pedigree as the clearest path to playoffs and beyond.
