Mumbai Indians lead trader consensus at 28% implied probability for IPL 2026 champion thanks to their retained Indian core of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Tilak Varma, and Jasprit Bumrah, supplemented by strategic pre-auction trades for Sherfane Rutherford and auction pickups like Trent Boult and Quinton de Kock, creating unmatched batting depth and the tournament's top pace attack. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru trail at 15% after releasing Liam Livingstone and facing availability concerns, while Punjab Kings' 12.5% reflects strong retentions like Arshdeep Singh but lacks MI's proven match-winners. With the season underway after March 28 openers, minimal injuries and MI's full overseas availability underscore their edge in a competitive points table race toward playoffs.
