Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus on Polymarket assigns an 88% implied probability to a 21°C high in Shanghai today, driven by the latest China Meteorological Administration forecasts and ensemble model runs converging on this peak amid moderating southerly winds and increasing cloud cover from an approaching frontal system. Recent daytime highs reached 22–23°C on March 28–29 under clearer skies and warm air advection, but morning observations around 13–15°C with scattered showers signal a cap near 21°C, aligning with historical late-March averages of 14–15°C boosted by urban heat island effects. A 19% chance lingers for 22°C if clouds thin unexpectedly, while lower outcomes reflect negligible risk given current advection patterns; hourly updates from official stations like Xujiahui will finalize resolution this evening.
