This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by the Hong Kong Observatory in degrees Celsius on 30 Mar '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from the Hong Kong Observatory, specifically the "Absolute Daily Max (deg. C)" the specified date once information is finalized in the relevant "Daily Extract", available here: https://www.weather.gov.hk/en/cis/climat.htm This market can not resolve to "Yes" until data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures in Celsius to one decimal place (eg, 9.1°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Hong Kong Observatory's latest 9-day forecast, updated at 10:43 HKT on March 30, projects a high of 27°C today amid a trough of low pressure bringing mainly cloudy skies, heavy showers, and severe squally thunderstorms, with southerly winds at force 3-4 and humidity 70-95%. However, trader consensus favors 25°C at 59.5% implied probability, reflecting subdued morning observations—peaking at 24°C around stations like Sha Tin and Sai Kung by 11 a.m.—and yesterday's 24°C high that fell short amid similar moist conditions suppressing daytime heating via reduced insolation. Recent days saw 27°C on March 28 and 26°C on March 27 before cooling, consistent with spring's above-normal temperatures but vulnerable to cloud-induced caps; watch afternoon automatic weather station data for resolution.
