Shohei Ohtani's dominant 46.5% implied probability for 2026 NL MVP reflects his seamless transition to the Dodgers—a perennial contender fresh off a World Series title—positioning him as the league's premier offensive force with elite power-speed metrics and potential pitching return post-elbow surgery. Juan Soto's 14% share surges from his record $765 million Mets pact, injecting Yankees-level star power into NL East rivalries, while Fernando Tatis Jr. (10.5%) and Ronald Acuña Jr. (10%) draw bets on their explosive tools amid injury recoveries. Francisco Lindor and Elly De La Cruz (6% each) gain from breakout narratives and defensive wizardry, but Bryce Harper, Mookie Betts, and Kyle Tucker's lower odds hinge on health and Tucker's AL status unless traded. Traders eye spring training health reports as pivotal amid baseball's injury volatility.
