Trader sentiment on Polymarket's "Number of TSA Passengers April 2" market reflects a razor-thin split, with 50% implied probabilities on both 2.8M-3.0M and 2.4M-2.6M outcomes, underscoring uncertainty in spring break travel demand amid resolving TSA disruptions. Recent TSA checkpoint data shows volatility—April 1 at 2.36 million, March 29 peak at 2.76 million, and late-March average near 2.46 million—pressured by government funding lapses causing staffing shortages and long lines, now easing with pay assurances boosting worker returns. Airlines for America projected record 2.8 million daily passengers through April, but year-over-year declines of 10-12% and weekday patterns differentiate the contest, with resolution hinging on official TSA release expected imminently.
