Shohei Ohtani's dominant 41.5% implied probability for 2026 NL MVP reflects trader confidence in his two-way superstar return—pitching plus hitting—bolstered by the Dodgers' World Series title and stacked lineup featuring Mookie Betts (11.6%), who thrives in LA's high-octane offense. Juan Soto's 12.5% share hinges on free agency speculation after his Yankees opt-out, with NL powerhouses like the Dodgers and Mets as prime landing spots for his elite bat. Ronald Acuña Jr. (10%) gains from full ACL recovery, while Fernando Tatis Jr. (7.5%) and Elly De La Cruz (7%) ride breakout power-speed profiles; recent winter meetings buzz on Soto's market and Ohtani's clean bill of health have widened his lead over incumbents like Francisco Lindor and Bryce Harper.
