**Recent mild late-summer conditions in the Pacific Northwest positioned mid-50s Fahrenheit as the leading outcomes for Seattle’s September 22 minimum temperature.** Official observations from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport showed overnight lows settling in the 55–57°F range under mostly cloudy skies, light southerly flow, and dew points near 54°F, consistent with the climatological average low of 51.8°F (1991–2020) yet slightly above recent years’ typical 51–54°F readings. No strong cold-air advection or clear-sky radiational cooling occurred to push temperatures lower, keeping the distribution centered on 56–57°F (61% market-implied probability) while lower brackets like 50–51°F retained secondary support at ~49.5%. Traders incorporated the final NWS climate summary and station data to converge on these ranges, reflecting the narrow uncertainty band typical for a completed daily temperature market.
