SpaceX's confidential SEC filing for an initial public offering on April 1 marks the primary catalyst shifting trader focus to its debut valuation, with reports targeting a raise of $50-75 billion at over $1.75 trillion—recently upped above $2 trillion amid xAI integration and Starlink growth. Bolstered by reusable Falcon 9 dominance, record satellite deployments, and Starship V3 flight tests slated in 4-6 weeks, the aerospace giant eyes a June or July listing after roadshow and pricing. Competitive pressures from rivals like Blue Origin and regulatory scrutiny on mega-IPOs underscore uncertainty, as public markets test private hype against execution on Mars ambitions and orbital economy scaling.
