Tarik Skubal commands 23.5% trader consensus for the 2026 AL Cy Young, fueled by his unanimous 2024 victory leading MLB in WAR, ERA, wins, and innings for Detroit, with youth (29) and team control enhancing repeat potential. Garrett Crochet (11.5%) stands out via elite strikeout rates (12.9 K/9) and White Sox trade buzz, though durability caps his edge. Jacob deGrom matches at 11.5% on pedigree and velocity, but age-38 injury history looms large. Max Fried's 9.6% hinges on free-agent path to AL contention, contrasting Pablo Lopez and Nathan Eovaldi's steady mid-rotation reliability in a fluid market prone to offseason shuffling, health swings, and prospect surges.
