This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 MLS Golden Boot. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Petar Musa leads the MLS 2026 Golden Boot race with 10 goals in 10 matches for FC Dallas, including his league-high 10th in a 2-0 win over New York Red Bulls on May 2, while Chicago Fire's Hugo Cuypers matches that tally in fewer appearances and Nashville SC's Sam Surridge sits close at 9. Yet trader consensus prices LAFC's Denis Bouanga (5 goals so far, fresh off an April 4 hat trick vs. Orlando City) and Inter Miami's Lionel Messi (8 goals, 2025 winner) as virtual co-favorites due to their proven 20+ goal seasons, elite team support like Son Heung-min's assists for LAFC, and softer remaining schedules amid a grueling Western Conference slate for Dallas. This cluster of blistering early paces from multiple strikers, juxtaposed against the favorites' historical consistency and playoff-push motivation, keeps probabilities tightly contested in the mid-40s.
