This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on Polymarket prices Yohei Takaoka as the clear 2026 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year favorite at 39% implied probability, driven by his dominant 2024 campaign with Vancouver Whitecaps where he led MLS with 12 clean sheets, a 78.1% save percentage, and just 1.01 goals against average amid a playoff push. Michael Collodi (30%) surges on standout play for struggling San Jose Earthquakes, posting 10 shutouts and top-5 save rate as a 24-year-old breakout star. Jonathan Sirois (27.7%) and Kristijan Kahlina (27.3%) hold firm via consistent clean sheets and defensive anchors for CF Montréal and Charlotte FC, respectively, with Luis Barraza and Joe Willis benefiting from strong late-season form and team defensive improvements. Odds cluster tightly among emerging talents under 30, signaling bets on youth, save metrics, and projected 2025-26 team trajectories over veterans as MLS playoffs loom.
