The resolution source for this market will be the coin’s listed price on its official CoinGecko page https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum. This market will resolve according to the “C” (aka closing price) listed for the candle titled “Thu 10 March 2022, 12:00:00”, with the “Price” tab selected, in the Eastern Time Zone. Note, this 12:00:00 candle lists the opening price for 11:30:00 AM ET and the closing price for 12:00:00 PM ET. To allow for updates, this market will resolve on the number listed for the referenced candle at exactly 12:25:00 PM ET, on the resolution day. (To see the candlestick close price, click the candlestick icon, and observe the number after the “C:” when you hover over a candlestick for a given time period.)

This is a market on if the price of Ethereum (ETH) will be above $2,000 in USD on May 27, 2022 (12 PM ET).

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Ethereum ($ETH) has a candlestick closing price of $2,000.01 or more, as per the resolution source, on May 27, 2022, 12pm ET, and “No” otherwise.

The resolution source for this market will be prices listed on CoinGecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum).

This market will resolve according to the “C” (i.e. closing price) listed for the candle titled “Fri 27 May 2022, 12:00:00”, with the “Price” tab selected, in the Eastern Time Zone. Note, this 12:00:00 candle lists the opening price for 11:30:00 AM ET and the closing price for 12:00:00 PM ET.

Will $ETH be above $2,000 on May 27?

This is a market on whether Ethereum's ($ETH) price will sustain a daily change of 10% or more, in terms of relative change in their USD prices, on any day within this market timeframe. The resolution source is https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum/historical_data/usd#panel. 

If the close price of $ETH on any day in May 2022 had a 10% or more unrounded absolute percentage difference from its open price on the same day, the market will resolve to “Yes.” Otherwise, the market will resolve to “No.”

The following example shows how the absolute percentage difference is calculated. If on May 10, the open price of $ETH was $3400, and the close price of $ETH was $3100, the percentage difference would be | ((3100-3400)/(3400)) | * 100 = 8.82%, which would not suffice to resolve the market to “Yes.”

This market's timeframe spans from May 1, 2022 to May 31, 2022 (inclusive). The resolution source will be checked daily after the day's close price is finalized, in addition to checking all the days beforehand. The last check will be once the close price for May 31, 2022 is final and published at the resolution source. If relevant data is unavailable, another source (e.g. CoinMarketCap) will be used. 

Will Ethereum's (ETH) price have a 10% or more daily change on any day in May 2022?

This is a market on if the price of Ethereum (ETH) will be above $2,900 in USD on May 7, 2022 (12 PM ET). 

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Ethereum ($ETH) has a candlestick closing price of $2,900.01 or more, as per the resolution source, on May 7, 2022, 12pm ET, and “No” otherwise.

The resolution source for this market will be prices listed on CoinGecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum).

This market will resolve on the “C” (i.e. closing price) listed for the candle titled “Tue 22 June 2021, 12:00:00”, with the “Price” tab selected, in the Eastern Time Zone. Note, this 12:00:00 candle lists the opening price for 11:30:00 AM ET and the closing price for 12:00:00 PM ET. To allow for updates, this market will resolve on the number listed for the referenced candle at exactly 12:25:00 PM ET, on June 22, 2021. (To see the candlestick close price, click the candlestick icon, and observe the number after the “C:” when you hover over a candlestick for a given time period.) If Coingecko is unavailable at the resolution time, another credible source will be chosen in good faith by the MIC to resolve the market.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Ethereum ($ETH) has a candlestick closing price of $3,250.01 or more, as per the resolution source, on April 13, 2022, 12pm ET, and “No” otherwise.

This market will resolve to “Yes“ if ETH is trading above $1,500 according to Coinmarketcap on the resolution date, and “No“ otherwise. In the event of ambiguity in terms of the market outcome, the market will be resolved in good faith at the sole discretion of the Markets Integrity Committee (MIC).



Will ETH be above $1500 on February 3rd, 2021?

This is a market on whether Ethereum ($ETH) will reach a price of $2000.00 or above between August 10, 2022, 9 AM ET, and August 20, 2022, 12 AM ET.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if $ETH reaches $2000.00 USD or greater within this market's timeframe. This market will resolve to "No" if the price of $ETH remains below $2000.00 for the entirety of this market's timeframe.

The primary resolution source for this market will be CoinGecko's 30min candlestick high prices, with "Sat Aug 20 2022, 00:00:00" as the last relevant candle used for the market. This market will resolve to “Yes“ if ETH is trading above $2000 according to Coinmarketcap on the resolution date, and “No“ otherwise. In the event of ambiguity in terms of the market outcome, the market will be resolved in good faith at the sole discretion of the Markets Integrity Committee (MIC).

Will ETH be above $2000 on April 1st, 2021?

In Response to Trader Inquiry: The TRANSITION_BLOCK had a timestamp of “Sep-15-2022 06:42:59 AM +UTC” per https://etherscan.io/block/15537394. Thus, per the rules of the market, the initial CoinGecko candle that will be used for this market is “Thu Sep 15 2022, 00:00:00” in the PT timezone, which has a “C” price of $1606.37.

The final “C” price of the "Thu Sep 22 2022, 00:00:00" candle in the PT timezone will be compared with the “C” price of the aforementioned candle per the rules of the market.

This market will resolve to "Higher" if the price of Ethereum ($ETH) is higher one week after the time of the merge than it was at the time of the merge. This market will resolve to "Lower" if the price of Ethereum ($ETH) is lower one week after the time of the merge than it was at the time of the merge. This market will resolve to 50-50 if the price of Ethereum ($ETH) is exactly the same one week after the time of the merge as it was at the time of the merge.

The price of $ETH at time of merge is defined herein as the "C" price (when the "Price" tab and "24h" is selected) listed on https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum for the candle covering the 30 minute window during which the TRANSITION_BLOCK (as defined by EIP-3675) is produced according to http://etherscan.com. Note that the candles are titled and dated with the closing second, and cover the 30 minutes preceding their title.

This market will resolve according to the “C” (when the "Price" tab is selected and "24h" is selected, on https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum) listed for the candle exactly seven days after the candle containing the merge timestamp. For example, if the merge occurred within the 30 minute candle titled "Sun 18 Sep 2022 09:00:00", then the market will resolve based on the "C" price of the "Sun 25 Sep 2022 09:00:00" candle. 

If the merge does not occur before January 1, 2023, this market will resolve to 50-50.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if any Binance 1 hour ETH/USDT candle titled with a date between 2022/09/21 through 2022/11/01 (inclusive) in the ET timezone has a final “Low” price of 999.99 or lower. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The final relevant candle for this market will be the 1 hour ETH/USDT candle titled "2022/11/01 23:00" in the ET timezone.

This market will resolve to "$1,000" if $ETH drops to $1000.00 USD or less first within this market's timeframe. This market will resolve to "$2,000" if $ETH reaches $2000.00 or more first within this market's timeframe.

If the price of $ETH neither drops to $1,000.00 or below nor reaches $2000.00 or more within this market's timeframe, this market will resolve to 50-50.

Note, this 12:00:00 candle lists the opening price for 11:30:00 AM ET and the closing price for 12:00:00 PM ET. To allow for updates, this market will resolve on the number listed for the referenced candle at exactly 12:25:00 PM ET, on August 11, 2021. This market will resolve to “Yes" if ETH is trading above $1,500 according to Coinmarketcap on the resolution date, and "No" otherwise. In the event of ambiguity in terms of the market outcome, the market will be resolved in good faith at the sole discretion of the Markets Integrity Committee (MIC).

Will ETH be above $1,500 on January 27th?

This is a market on whether Ethereum ($ETH) will reach a price of $2000.00 or above between August 22, 2022, 9AM ET, and the moment of "The Merge".

If $ETH reaches a price of $2000.00 or above after August 22, 2022, 9AM ET and before the first proof-of-stake block (defined in EIP-3675 as TRANSITION_BLOCK) is produced, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

If the first proof-of-stake block (defined in EIP-3675 as TRANSITION_BLOCK) is not generated before January 1, 2023, 12 AM ET, and $ETH has not reached a price of $2000.00 or above between August 22, 2022, 9 AM ET and that date, this market will resolve to 50-50.

High ("H") prices of 30-minute candles on CoinGecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum) produced after August 22, 2022, 9 AM ET, and prior to the candle covering the 30 minute window during which the TRANSITION_BLOCK is produced, will be used toward the resolution of this market. The candle which covers the 30 minute window during which the TRANSITION_BLOCK (as defined by EIP-3675) is produced according to http://etherscan.com will not count toward the resolution of this market.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if the Binance 1 minute candle for ETH/USDT titled 2022/09/23 12:00 in the ET timezone (referring to 12:00 PM ET) has a final “Close” price of 1400.01 or higher, or to “No” otherwise.
