Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors a high of 17°C in Shanghai on March 27 (87% implied probability), reflecting the latest forecast consensus from the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and global models like ECMWF and GFS, which show northerly winds ushering cooler continental air into the region after recent mild conditions. Overnight model runs as of March 26 refined this outlook, incorporating current upper-air patterns and light cloud cover that cap daytime heating, while ruling out significant warming for 18°C (13%) or higher. Shanghai's March climatology averages 12–18°C highs, with low variability this week; final observational data from Pudong and Hongqiao stations will confirm resolution, but uncertainty remains minimal barring unexpected frontal shifts.
