This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season and NCAA Tournament with the highest points per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest points per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official NCAA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to NCAA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season is cancelled, postponed after April 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the NCAA (ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1).AJ Dybantsa holds a commanding lead in NCAA men's basketball scoring at 25.5 points per game across 35 starts for BYU, amassing 894 total points as the nation's top scorer this season, with his freshman production—including a 40-point outburst in the Big 12 Tournament and consistent NCAA Tournament outputs—cementing trader consensus at overwhelming dominance. No challenger, like Jordan Riley's 23.6 PPG in 30 games for East Carolina or JT Toppin's 21.8 for Texas Tech, has closed the gap despite fewer games played, as Dybantsa's volume and efficiency (51.0% FG) create an insurmountable buffer heading into late March Madness. Realistic shifts would require a Dybantsa injury or disqualification limiting his minutes, coupled with multiple 40-plus point explosions from pursuers in remaining tournament games.
