This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season and NCAA Tournament with the highest assists per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest assists per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official NCAA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to NCAA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season is cancelled, postponed after April 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the NCAA (ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1).Jeremy Fears Jr., Michigan State's record-setting point guard, commands 98.3% trader consensus as NCAAM assists per game leader after averaging 9.4 APG across 35 games for a school-record 328 total assists, capping his historic season with a Wooden All-American nod two days ago. Michigan State's 27-8 campaign ended in the NCAA Tournament, leaving Fears's lead mathematically daunting atop national stats—well ahead of Purdue's Braden Smith (8.8 APG) and others like UCLA's Donovan Dent (7.6 APG), both eliminated. With Final Four matchups (Illinois-UConn, Arizona-Michigan) set for April 4 and championship April 6, no active player trails closely enough; challengers would need unprecedented 15+ APG explosions over two games to surpass, an improbable feat given usage patterns and tournament intensity.
