If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament is cancelled, postponed after April 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Illinois freshman Keaton Wagler's breakout NCAA Tournament run has driven trader consensus to an implied 13.2% probability for him as Most Outstanding Player, far ahead in a wide-open Final Four field. The unheralded recruit, now a Second Team All-American and Big Ten Freshman of the Year, earned South Region MOP honors with a 25-point Elite Eight masterpiece that propelled No. 3 seed Illinois to its first Final Four since 2005, outdueling rivals ahead of a semifinal vs. UConn. Differentiators include his size, pick-and-roll mastery, and recent efficiency (e.g., 18-7-7 line earlier), contrasting lower-priced options like Michigan State's Jeremy Fears Jr. (All-American guard) and Purdue's Braden Smith (assists record holder), whose teams exited earlier; Arizona and Michigan stars like Brayden Burries add volatility amid balanced matchups.
