This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLB American League East division. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League East division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus favors the New York Yankees at 34.5% implied probability for the 2026 AL East crown, buoyed by their recent signing of ace Max Fried to a six-year, $218 million deal, strengthening a rotation hit hard by Juan Soto's blockbuster departure to the Mets. The Boston Red Sox trail closely at 27% after aggressive free-agent splashes like Walker Buehler and a deep farm system fueling optimism, while Toronto Blue Jays hold steady at 24% with Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s star power and high payroll commitments. Baltimore Orioles sit at 19.5% amid questions over their young core's sustained contention post-extension for Gunnar Henderson, as Tampa Bay Rays lag at 6.2% signaling rebuild vibes. Offseason parity and prospect pipelines keep the division race fiercely competitive.
