This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus prices Samuel Basallo slightly ahead at 49% implied probability for the 2026 Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter Award, with Brent Rooker, Yandy Diaz, Christian Yelich, and others clustered tightly at 48.5%, reflecting early-season small-sample volatility after about 35 games. Mickey Moniak's explosive start (.720 SLG, 11 HR) and Yandy Diaz's contact mastery (tied for 10th in singles) fuel the bunching, while preseason favorites like Shohei Ohtani (strong WAR, walk rate) and Rooker maintain parity despite uneven paces—Rooker at .160 AVG but power potential intact. No dominant leader has emerged, with DH eligibility and projection models keeping the field wide open amid roster flexibility and hot streaks.
