This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Most Valuable Player Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Shohei Ohtani’s commanding early-season dominance as a two-way star for the Dodgers drives the overwhelming trader consensus behind his 76.5% implied probability in the 2026 NL MVP market. Pitching to a sub-1.00 ERA while delivering above-average offensive production creates a value edge no other player can replicate, building on his prior unanimous MVP wins and recovery from Tommy John surgery. Challengers such as Corbin Carroll and Elly De La Cruz trail significantly because they lack comparable combined contributions, leaving the field to compete for distant shares. Continued health and sustained performance through the summer represent the primary catalysts that could further solidify or, in rare injury scenarios, alter the current frontrunner status before voting concludes.
