This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on the AL Platinum Glove winner reflects an exceptionally tight race among recent Gold Glove recipients Cal Raleigh (catcher), Bobby Witt Jr. (shortstop), and Wilyer Abreu (outfielder), all sharing 42% implied probabilities following Tuesday's announcement of 2024 Rawlings Gold Glove winners. Raleigh excelled in framing and blocking metrics, Witt dazzled with range, double plays, and arm strength leading the league in defensive runs saved (DRS), while Abreu posted elite outfield arms and highlight-reel plays. Dillon Dingler (42%) remains competitive via strong catcher pop times and fielding despite missing Gold Glove hardware. The bunching underscores evenly matched sabermetric profiles—OAA, UZR, and Fielding Bible standings—with no dominant positional edge, as traders weigh voter preferences among these skin-in-the-game standouts ahead of player balloting.
