This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations per the rules of CAF (e.g., they are eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from CAF; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Ghana holds the narrowest edge at 25.1% in the AFCON 2027 winner market amid a tightly bunched field, reflecting broad parity across elite African sides. The disputed 2025 final—awarded to Morocco after Senegal’s walk-off, now under CAS appeal—has heightened motivation for multiple contenders while qualifiers open in September 2026 across challenging groups. High squad market values for Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Morocco, bolstered by stars such as Salah, Osimhen, Hakimi, and Kudus’s return, plus recent World Cup performances and coaching transitions, underscore depth and unpredictability. Co-hosting in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania on neutral soil further compresses advantages, sustaining competitive implied probabilities without a dominant favorite.
