Trader consensus overwhelmingly favors under 3 million first-week sales for BTS's purported "Arirang" album at 95.5% implied probability, driven by the absence of any official announcement or preorder data from HYBE or credible K-pop outlets like Hanteo or Gaon charts. BTS remains on hiatus amid members' military service, with no group comeback slated until mid-2025, rendering massive sales—typical of past hits like "Proof" (over 2.5 million)—impossible without a surprise drop. Cultural buzz on social platforms shows only fan speculation, not verified promotions. An upset would require an unannounced midnight release with explosive ARMY mobilization, but historical precedents for unpromoted albums suggest sales below 1 million at best.
