In the early stages of the 2026 Premier Lacrosse League regular season, the MVP market remains tightly contested among leading attackmen and midfielders because multiple players have posted comparable scoring outputs and team contributions through the opening weeks. Brennan O'Neill and Connor Shellenberger, the latter the reigning MVP and member of the defending champion New York Atlas, continue to generate high point totals while facing strong defensive schemes. Michael Sowers and Andrew McAdorey have delivered consistent production for their respective clubs, helping maintain narrow gaps in implied probabilities. Jeff Teat’s absence due to shoulder surgery has shifted some attention but has not created a dominant frontrunner, as early standings and individual stat lines reflect balanced competition across the league.
