This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season and NCAA Tournament with the highest points per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest points per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official NCAA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to NCAA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season is cancelled, postponed after April 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the NCAA (ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1).AJ Dybantsa commands 96.4% trader consensus as NCAAM points per game leader after averaging a nation-best 25.5 PPG across 35 games for BYU, including a freshman-record 40-point Big 12 Tournament outburst that broke Kevin Durant's single-game mark and a 35-point NCAA Tournament debut despite a first-round loss to Texas. His durability—starting every contest with 51% FG efficiency—and BYU's early exit have locked in his total of 894 points, creating a steep barrier. JT Toppin's 21.8 PPG trails significantly over fewer games; challengers like him or Jordan Riley would require 30+ PPG tears through multiple NCAA rounds to dilute games played while surpassing Dybantsa's average, an improbable feat given historical tournament scoring volatility.
