This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Outstanding Player of the Tournament award at the 2026 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NCAA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament is cancelled, postponed after April 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Michigan Wolverines' national championship triumph over UConn in the 2026 NCAA Tournament final on April 6 propelled point guard Elliot Cadeau to official Most Outstanding Player honors, reflecting trader consensus at 100% implied probability on Polymarket. Cadeau's tournament dominance—highlighted by double-doubles, elite playmaking with 10 assists in the Final Four semifinal rout of Arizona, and selfless leadership despite modest shooting (37% field goal)—elevated Michigan from Big Ten regular-season champs through March Madness, outshining peers like Duke's Cameron Boozer, BYU's AJ Dybantsa, and Purdue's Braden Smith. This skin-in-the-game pricing locks in post-announcement certainty, with only rare resolution disputes (e.g., administrative errors) posing realistic challenges.
