This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Outstanding Player of the Tournament award at the 2026 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NCAA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament is cancelled, postponed after April 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Illinois freshman Keaton Wagler's explosive 25-point, double-double Elite Eight performance against Iowa, earning South Region Most Outstanding Player honors, has propelled trader consensus to price him at 10.3% implied probability for NCAA Tournament MOP amid Illinois' upset run to its first Final Four since 2005. His season accolades—second-team All-American, Big Ten Freshman of the Year—highlight his breakout from unheralded recruit to versatile 6-6 guard dissecting defenses in March Madness. In this wide-open field with UConn, Arizona, and Michigan advancing, trailing contenders like Purdue's Braden Smith (NCAA assists leader but inefficient tourney shooting in Elite Eight loss) and Duke's Cameron Boozer (eliminated by UConn comeback) lag due to early exits, emphasizing team success and semifinal impact as key differentiators.
