BYU freshman AJ Dybantsa commands 95.8% trader consensus as NCAAM points per game leader after averaging 25.5 PPG across 35 games, capped by a freshman-record 40 points in the Big 12 Tournament—setting a 93-point conference tourney mark—and 35 in BYU's first-round NCAA Tournament loss to Texas, locking his elite stat line with 894 total points and 51% FG efficiency. Recent Big 12 and March Madness explosions widened his gap over challengers like Daeshun Ruffin (23.3 PPG at Jackson State) and Jordan Riley (23.6 PPG). JT Toppin's 6.9% share faded post-ACL surgery before Texas Tech's tournament run. Upsets hinge on Elite Eight survivors erupting for 30+ PPG through the Final Four in Indianapolis, a historical longshot against Dybantsa's volume lead.
