Trader consensus slightly favors the New York Yankees at 34.5% implied probability to win the 2026 AL East, but Boston Red Sox trail closely at 31.5%, with Toronto Blue Jays at 24.0%, highlighting intense divisional parity amid aggressive offseason roster moves. The Yankees maintain a powerhouse core anchored by Aaron Judge and Gerrit Cole, bolstered by their 2024 division title and World Series run, though Juan Soto's free agency departure looms large. Red Sox surged via signings like Walker Buehler and Alex Bregman, injecting rotation stability and lineup pop to their young nucleus of Rafael Devers and Jarren Duran. Blue Jays boast Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette under contract, while Baltimore Orioles' elite farm system tempers their 19.5% odds despite 2024 contention; Rays lag at 6.2% amid rebuild signals. Recent trade deadline echoes and early free agency shifts keep the race fluid, with no clear favorite emerging.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League East division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
