PSG holds a slim one-point lead over RC Lens atop the Ligue 1 table after 27 matchdays, reclaimed via a commanding 4-0 win over Nice on March 21, while Lens kept pace with a 5-1 demolition of Angers last weekend. Marseille consolidated third with a 3-2 derby victory over fourth-placed Lyon on March 1, but Lille lurks closely in fifth on goal difference, making the top four race for Champions League spots intensely competitive with seven games left. Lens face hamstring absences for Wesley Saïd and Ruben Aguilar until late March, potentially exposing depth issues, as upcoming clashes like OL vs. Monaco and rival head-to-heads will test form, home advantage, and European fatigue in the final stretch.
