Davis Riley holds a slim trader consensus edge at 43.4% implied probability for the Texas Children's Houston Open title, but Luke Clanton and Brice Garnett trail closely at 41.9% alongside Matthieu Pavon (41.4%) and others in the 40-43% range after Round 2 at Memorial Park Golf Course, highlighting a bunched leaderboard among surging mid-tier pros and amateurs. Strong second-round surges—exemplified by low-60s scores from Jeffrey Kang (65), Davis Riley (65), and similar hot streaks—propelled this group into contention amid the cut at -2, while leader Gary Woodland's health history tempers enthusiasm despite his -13 lead. No standout course history or strokes gained advantages separate them, keeping the weekend wide open with moving day volatility ahead on the demanding par-70 layout.
