Recent offseason developments solidified the race: the Liberty re-signed Stewart alongside Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones for roster continuity on a contending squad, and Collier inked a supermax extension with the Lynx, ensuring stability for both stars entering training camp. Stewart's Unrivaled championship MVP in March 2026 further boosted her momentum, underscoring their versatility, scoring prowess, and team success potential in a wide-open regular season race.
