This market will resolve to the contestant who wins Chopped Castaways Season 1, scheduled to premiere May 12, 2026. If Chopped Castaways Season 1 concludes without a winner being declared, or if Chopped Castaways Season 1 has otherwise not concluded by December 31, 2026, 11:59PM ET this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the official broadcast of the final episode of Chopped Castaways Season 1.Jean-Paul Bourgeois holds the strongest market-implied odds in the Chopped Castaways competition thanks to his wild-game expertise and proven resourcefulness in rugged outdoor settings, which align closely with the show’s survival challenges and open-fire cooking demands. The eight-episode series, which premiered May 12 on Food Network, strands twelve chefs on a remote island where physical trials like spearfishing and archery precede each round of basket cooking judged by Maneet Chauhan, Marcus Samuelsson, and Gabe Bertaccini. Bourgeois’s recent James Beard nomination and background in Louisiana wild-game cuisine have fueled trader confidence in his ability to adapt quickly. With the season still unfolding through individual eliminations toward a $100,000 prize, upcoming episodes featuring escalating physical and culinary tests could shift momentum if other competitors like Stephen Kina or Ara Zada demonstrate stronger endurance or creative pivots.
