Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" commands the strongest trader consensus in the VMA Best Country market due to its record-shattering Billboard Hot 100 run—22 weeks at No. 1, tying the all-time mark—and its additional Song of the Year nomination. The track's crossover dominance, co-writing and production ties to Miranda Lambert, and strong critical reception have positioned it as the clear frontrunner ahead of the September 27 ceremony. Competing nominees including Kacey Musgraves' "Dry Spell," Lainey Wilson's "Somewhere Over Laredo," and entries from Luke Combs, Shaboozey, Stella Lefty, and Tucker Wetmore reflect a solid but less dominant field, with market-implied odds underscoring the gap created by Langley's sustained momentum and recent CMA recognition.
