This market will resolve to "Yes" if a new French government is formed by July 31, 2024 11:59 PM ET. A new government is defined as the appointment of a Prime Minister and a cabinet that secures enough votes in the National Assembly to pass legislation.

The market will remain open until 10 parliamentary session days have passed after the Prime Minister has been appointed. If the Prime Minister is able to pass legislation or secure a confidence vote this market will immediately resolve to “Yes”. If a no-confidence vote is passed within this period, the market will resolve to "No”. If a no-confidence vote has not passed after the completion of the 10 days, this market will resolve to “Yes” even if no new legislation has been passed. 

If a new government forms under the current caretaker Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal, this will count as a new government. However the status quo of his current caretaker position will not count as a new government.

If a prime minister is appointed before July 31, this market may stay open until 10 parliamentary session days have passed or the other resolution criteria has been met.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Sébastien Lecornu is no longer serving as Prime Minister of France for any length of time between December 4, 2025, and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

An announcement of Sébastien Lecornu's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Emmanuel Macron convenes the electorate for a nationwide referendum by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."

To qualify, the Journal officiel de la République française must publish a presidential decree, signed by Emmanuel Macron, deciding to submit a text to a nationwide referendum, for example, through Article 11, Article 89, or via the référendum d’initiative partagée (RIP). In the event of a tie between multiple parties for the most seats won, this market will resolve in favor of the party or coalition which received a greater number of valid votes. In the event that results in a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the party or coalition whose listed abbreviation appears first in alphabetical order.

This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party or coalition in the Benin National Assembly. If a senate is added to the Benin parliament, this market will resolve according to the number of seats won in the National Assembly, excluding the Senate.

This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Benin government, specifically the constitutional court of Benin (Cour constitutionnelle du Bénin) (https://courconstitutionnelle.bj/fr).

This market will resolve to “Yes” if the governing coalition consisting of CDU/CSU and SPD breaks by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM CET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.”

An announcement of Giorgia Melon's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect.

To count for resolution, the individual must be formally sworn in. Any interim or caretaker Prime Minister will not count toward the resolution of this market.

If no such Prime Minister is sworn in by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”.
